Robert P. Eshelman

Robert Eshelman was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. He received his bachelor of arts at the College of Wooster in 1969. He enrolled in law school at the University of Maryland where he received his J.D. in 1974. That same year, he entered the United States Naval Justice School, in Newport, Rhode Island.

From 1975 to 1977, during his time as an officer in the United States Navy, Office of the Judge Advocate General, he handled cases ranging from major criminal charges to congressional investigations.

Since 1978, Eshelman has handled civil cases in a variety of fields. He has also represented multiple labor organizations, and has specialized in handling and litigating trucking cases.

In 1992, he was certified by the Florida Bar in Civil Trial Law.

He established what would become Robert P. Eshelman, P.A. in 1980, and has provided a multitude of legal services ever since.

Eshelman has extensive experience as a civil trial lawyer, and has secured numerous major jury verdicts for his clients.

He has been certified to practice in the Supreme Court of Ohio, the Supreme Court of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. He has held memberships in the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the American Bar Association.
